Leaving 2018, I seriously thought I’d heal completely in 2019- from the things I avoided talking about

It just made me realize I’m gonna have relapses along the way and that it’s okay to not always be okay

Oh, Fudge!

18 May 2012 -Fudge, Cebu.

I requested papa to bring us to Fudge before we go back to Manila the next day. So we tried…

Ice Cream Cake (100php)

Layers of chocolate merengue, peanut butter, more chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

(not a very good food definition, Fudge)

Tre Colore (120php)

Layers of White, Milk and Dark Chocolate

Lava Cake with Vanila Ice Cream (95php)

Hot & Cold Cafe Latte (80php)

Student-Led Conference

16 May 2012, my brother Mikko is scheduled for his Student-Led Conference. They do this every year. Parents -in our case, sisters- go to their children’s classrooms to listen to them while they share stories and learnings they earned for the school year. I went there with our sister since mama is already in Manila and papa is facilitating his SLC (he’s a teacher).

Video:

(Sorry kung magulo, ako ang may hawak ng iPhone, ang hirap pag di mo nakikita. Ako rin kasi kausap nya. Haha!)

Here are some of Mikko’s treasures in class:

Part of the ‘conference’ is for Mikko to explain to us the rules on how to play floor hockey and badminton!

Here’s a video:

(I’m sorry kung magulo, my sister’s holding the iPhone for the first part :D)

My sister, Angelika. Picturan ko daw sya =)))

Mikko has been in this school for three years. From Kinder2 to Grade 2. He left this school to transfer to Pasig Catholic College, a school so dear for our family.

I’m proud of what you’ve become, Mikko. I thank Cebu International School, the first school you’ve been in for giving you the right education you need. Your primary learning we owe to them. And for the friends you gained. Thanks CIS! See you again!

Anak ni Mr. de la Cruz,

Spice Fusion

Last May 9, before mama leaves the next day for her flight back to Manila, I went to a dinner with my family at BTC (Banilad Town Center). It took us time to decide on where to eat. But I stopped in front of Spice Fusion and papa decided that we just eat there. Voila! 🙂

We ordered four dishes and only one platter of rice. Haha!

Seafood Chowfan -I love this so much!

Spice Fusion Beef Steak

Singaporean Roasted Chicken

Tom Yang
